What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Record monthly journal entries, perform reconciliations, and complete other month-end tasks as assigned
- Execute monthly close duties in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow documented procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and participate in external audits as needed
- Build strong working relationships within the accounting department and across other departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting function
- Experience in the senior living industry is highly desired
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Familiarity with accounting systems, with Yardi as a preferred option
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
