What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead MEP design teams for both greenfield and retrofit data center projects
- Define HVAC technical requirements and coordinate with plumbing, electrical, and fire protection teams
- Develop and refine office design standards for the Data Center and Mission Critical sectors
- Collaborate across disciplines to create integrated technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance to internal and third-party commissioning teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility design and construction environments
- Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of data center HVAC and associated systems
- Proficiency in Revit software
- Understanding of ASHRAE 90.1, 90.4, and TC 9.9 publications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Experience with Chiller, Cooling Towers, AHU, Heat Pumps, and Generator designs
- Experience with energy modeling and process water flushing and treatment
- Familiarity with Building Controls Systems
