What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Innovation team to ideate and evaluate technology solutions for the Biomedical Services mission area
- Document business cases to initiate technology and AI projects
- Rapidly prototype solutions, translating ideas into user stories and functional prototypes
- Partner with engineers and stakeholders to advance prototypes from concept to working demo
- Maintain a project roadmap and track performance metrics to monitor business value over time
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Technical Product Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Recent coding experience required, ideally with HTML, CSS, and an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C++)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work in ambiguity with a test-and-learn approach
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with APIs and reading technical documentation, with a focus on generative AI concepts
- Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Passionate about contributing to the mission of the Red Cross
- Experience in translating real-world constraints into product requirements
- Familiarity with agile and user-centered design principles
