What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Architect and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for dynamic Kubernetes scaling and orchestration
- Build and maintain Docker-based deployment pipelines and runtime images
- Collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps to ensure systems are resilient, observable, and secure
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including autoscaling and capacity management
- Strong experience building and running Dockerized workloads
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend services
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems in production
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Go and/or gRPC
- Familiarity with Terraform, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar tooling
- Experience with MongoDB and MySQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean
- Background supporting high-availability, distributed systems
