What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform CECL model validations and methodology reviews for banks and credit unions
- Conduct in-depth analyses on model methodologies, assumptions, and performance trends using large datasets
- Drive the timeline and completion of client engagements with minimal guidance from supervisors
- Consult with clients about model risk management practices
- Stay current on regulatory and compliance changes and industry developments related to model risk management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree; master's degree or advanced certification in a relevant field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in banking, CECL, model development/operation/validation, or professional services
- Strong understanding of quantitative analysis methods related to credit loss and reserve models
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ASC 326
- Understanding of AI concepts
- Ability to create and sustain positive working relationships with diverse constituencies
