As a BI Report Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain reporting and database solutions that ensure study teams and clients receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights.


      You will work closely with Project Management, Validation, and Technical teams to deliver reliable BI reports, database objects, and data extracts that directly support the success of global clinical trials.       What You’ll Be Doing

      • Designing and developing BI reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support clinical trial delivery.

      • Creating and maintaining database objects including views, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.

      • Recommending reporting and data visualization approaches aligned with study requirements and stakeholder needs.

      • Developing custom reports, scheduled data deliveries, and automated email notifications.

      • Supporting integrations between clinical systems and reporting databases.

      • Participating in study and project meetings to review specifications and provide reporting and database expertise.

      • Assessing feasibility, complexity, and effort for reporting and BI deliverables.

      • Managing and prioritizing assigned reporting work with accountability for delivery timelines.

      • Investigating and resolving data quality, performance, and reporting issues in collaboration with internal teams.

      • Performing peer reviews and unit testing across Staging, UAT, and Production environments.

      • Troubleshooting defects and ensuring high‑quality releases.

      • Partnering with Project Management and Validation teams to ensure reports meet regulatory and quality standards.

      • Maintaining clear and accurate technical documentation for reports, queries, and database logic.

      • Proactively identifying risks, dependencies, or data issues and escalating when appropriate.

      • Communicating assumptions clearly and seeking clarification early to reduce rework.

      • Supporting team initiatives, professional development, and knowledge sharing.

      • Completing additional related duties as assigned.

      What We Look For

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

      • 1–3 years of experience in BI reporting, database development, or a Database Administrator–adjacent role.

      • Strong experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Snowflake.

      • Proficiency in SQL with experience developing: Stored procedures, Views, Functions

      • Complex queries for reporting and analysis

      • Experience supporting reporting tools or BI platforms (e.g., custom SQL‑based reporting, enterprise reporting systems).

      • Familiarity with Python for data handling or automation is preferred.

      • Ability to read and work with XML, and familiarity with XSLT, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.

      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.

      • Ability to manage multiple reporting requests and meet deadlines in a regulated environment.

      • Familiarity with clinical trial data standards or systems (e.g., Oracle Clinical, CDISC ODM) is an advantage.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

      • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.

      • Based in Bangalore or able to work from India in an on‑site or hybrid arrangement.
