What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from consumers, providing assistance in accordance with performance standards and confidentiality policies
- Process new applications for health care coverage and facilitate enrollment into health plans
- Track and document all inquiries using applicable systems
- Respond effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts
- Attend meetings and training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs and systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required, along with 6+ months of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese, or proficiency in both Spanish and Haitian Creole
- Strong data entry and telephone skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Familiarity with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred
