What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding admissions, billing, payments, and denials
- Verify patient insurance and obtain necessary authorizations
- Utilize medical terminology and procedure codes to assist clients effectively
- Demonstrate strong communication skills while building trust and respect with customers
- Work individually and multitask while applying critical thinking skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire
- Intermediate proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient access with managed care/insurance and call center environments
- Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with multiple computer systems and dual screens
- Strong ability to articulate and communicate effectively
