What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and integrate computer-based medical equipment connected to hospital networks and clinical information systems
- Troubleshoot connectivity and interface issues for networked medical devices
- Support vulnerability and patch management efforts to ensure cybersecurity compliance
- Assist with inventory accuracy for medical equipment and ensure alignment with cybersecurity requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the safe operation of medical technology
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance, including 1 year of specialized experience in medical information systems and networking
- A two-year associate degree or higher in applied science or equivalent military training
- Demonstrated skill in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders in a healthcare organization
- Current knowledge of computer virus protection software, information security tools, and networking theory
- Experience with TCP/IP, HL7, networking, and DICOM standards, as well as troubleshooting networked medical equipment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements and International Standard Organization standards
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings
