What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop long-term empathetic relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to enhance patient care
- Assist patients during visits by facilitating timely flow and updating medication and allergy lists
- Perform medical assisting duties, including obtaining vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing under supervision
- Lead outreach and health coaching conversations to meet population health goals
- Maintain medical equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Health Science preferred
- 0-1 years related work experience required
- Demonstrated Medical Assistant competencies within one year of hire
- Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications
- License Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent preferred
