      What this Job Entails:

      The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for development, management and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure and applications. Working across teams in a collaborative (DevOps) formation, Engineer will be responsible for team mentorship, technology advances and direction, while also supporting project managers and various business towers as a consultant and subject matter expert for the end-point compute environment.

      Scope:

      • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues

      • Works on problems of moderate scope

      • Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects

      Your Roles and Responsibilities:

      • Work with data analysts, product owners and data scientists, to better understand requirements, finding bottlenecks and resolutions

      • Build batch/real time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies

      • Provide technical engineering working on various technologies

      • Design and implement solutions to improve existing support processes and tools

      • Support our development and management infrastructure and integrate all systems to work as one

      • Write automation code and build tools for provisioning and operating our Development infrastructure on multi OS virtualized environments

      • Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance of Cloud and Hadoop Infrastructure

      • Preparing root cause analysis for network and server outages

      • Introduce innovations, track and follow up on planning and execution of quality initiatives

      • Document and follow defined RMA processes and procedures for all relevant vendors

      • Triage all incoming requests through the ticketing systems and apply first attempt troubleshooting steps (escalate trouble tickets when required)

      • Record, track, and document the tasks request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.

      Required Qualifications/Skills:

      • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

      • Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data

      • Strong background in various coding, administration and scripting languages

      • Demonstrated experience with big data infrastructure

      • Good communication skills and works well in a team environment and with stakeholders

      • Experience in building various programs

      • Familiarity with tools for monitoring and system alerting

      • Managing multiple products/release cadences with source control branching strategies

      • Software Development experience

      • Experience with open-source tools and technologies in large distributed systems

      • Experience building and developing a scalable, resilient, always-on data lake

      • Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and multitask on multiple responsibilities

      • Excellent information and data analysis skills

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Azure, Kubernetes, Azure and Terraform

      Physical Demand & Work Environment:

      • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks, which may include prolonged sitting or standing

      • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

      • Must be able to use a computer

      • Must have the ability to communicate effectively

      • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
