What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships with fabricators, millworkers, architects, and contractors to drive demand for Corian® branded products
- Provide technical support and training to partners in collaboration with internal resources and distributors
- Manage and track large project opportunities from planning to closing, ensuring specifications are maintained
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage project and account pipeline, delivering revenue against business goals
- Conduct continuing education presentations and network through industry events and associations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- At least five years of sales experience in the surfacing industry
- Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships
- Strong understanding of the commercial design process and construction industry
- Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce.com and other project management tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with LEED and sustainability issues
- Familiarity with industry associations such as AIA, CSI, IIDA, and ISFA
- Ability to scout and execute the launch of differentiated product offerings
- Established network within the surfacing industry
- Strong analytical skills to assess local market and competitive information
