What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate and analyze the creditworthiness of loan applicants
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies and support the underwriting process
- Review financial statements, credit reports, and relevant documents to assess risk
- Learn the lending decision-making process under general supervision
- Collaborate with team members of the credit union's lending team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a related field is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in credit analysis or underwriting is a plus
- Familiarity with financial analysis software and tools
