What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop credit strategies using data and machine learning models to optimize risk decisions
- Lead end-to-end risk and analytics strategy for the employer's Credit Card offerings
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis related to risk management and portfolio performance
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to implement and monitor strategies
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the Risk Management team and broader community
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience managing credit or fraud risk for Analyst level; 5+ years for Sr. Analyst level
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau; knowledge of R is a plus
- Experience in credit risk management and/or fraud in the consumer lending industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in relevant fields with less experience for Analyst level
- Background in product launches or go-to-market analytics
- Familiarity with Fiserv and/or FICO fraud tools
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies
- Experience using machine learning and statistical models to develop strategies
