What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve coordination of benefits inquiries by analyzing patient activity and claims attachments
- Educate customers and dental professionals on eligibility, benefits, claims payment, and authorizations
- Document all customer interactions thoroughly and completely
- Respond to and resolve complex customer inquiries through various communication channels
- Suggest improvements to service delivery processes contributing to the organization's success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment
- Ability to multi-task using multiple applications simultaneously
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with medical/dental terminology
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid
- Claims, billing, and coding experience
