What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Intake, investigate, determine coverage, manage, and resolve Cyber, Privacy, Media, and Tech E&O claims
- Review and analyze complex coverage issues and prepare coverage position letters
- Handle demanding first-party Cyber Claims, including Data Breaches and Business Interruption claims
- Manage and direct outside counsel and review legal budgets and bills
- Develop and execute claim strategies and negotiate resolutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD required (currently licensed)
- 3-5 years of professional liability claims experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate coverage issues involving a wide variety of loss scenarios
- In-depth knowledge of the litigation, arbitration, and trial process
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Cyber claims or understanding of computer security and forensics
- Broad insurance experience, including understanding of policy language and claim practices
- Strong negotiation and investigation skills
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to improve processes
- Ability to influence others and resolve complex claims
