      Responsibilities:

      • Implement new and maintain existing security solutions and controls; explore and suggest improvement options regarding technical configurations, usable features, etc.
      • Be aware of market developments, trends and changes of implemented solutions to adopt Freudenberg’s implementation to fit the best practices.
      • Support troubleshooting and changes regarding implemented security solutions (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
      • Develop, maintain and improve processes regarding implemented security solutions
      • Implement best practices, blueprints and solutions based on external requirements and internal needs of the Corporate Organization
      • Support Business Groups with the implementation of best practices, blueprints and solutions
      • Be aware of implemented solutions and processes within the Business Groups with the goal to support mutual troubleshooting and common changes, identify synergies, stay in close cooperation with the Business Groups to ensure continuous knowledge sharing
      • Support security incident investigations and help develop strategies to prevent future incidents, if security area was affected by the incident
      • Coordinate external partners and vendors, if required

      Qualifications:

      • Education: Cyber security or IT related degree or equivalent relevant experience
      • Best practices: Proven expertise of implementing and maintaining security best practices and solutions for the specified area(s) based on internal requirements, external frameworks, e.g. NIST publications, ISO standards or industry requirements such as TISAX
      • IT knowledge: Broad knowledge of IT processes and solutions on different levels (e.g. hardware, network, OS, docker, application, software development, cloud, …) with focus on Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, M365)
      • Process knowledge: Know how to work with enterprise ITSM processes (e.g. ITIL) and use given technical and organizational interfaces
      • Curious: Taking nothing for granted and challenging obvious things to derive the best possible solution
      • Analytical: Being able to combine facts and derive suggestions and actions to be taken
      • Problem solver: Willingness to accept challenges and probing different ways to find a practical and effective solution
      • Collaborative: Getting the best results when working in a collaborative, cross-functional team
      • Communication: Excellent skills to communicate with different stakeholders (IT operations, Security experts, End Users) in Cyber Security relevant matters
      • Drive & Execution: Excellent skills in translating security requirements into practical solutions
