We keep our commitmentsThe Data Analytics Manager is a hands-on revenue cycle management (RCM) leadership position responsible for developing and executing the strategy and work products for all aspects of data analytics, data visualization and the application for workflow automation for the Blue Cloud enterprise This leader will oversee all design and application aspects of enterprise RCM performance reporting, dashboard and insights development to empower all levels of RCM and Blue Cloud operations to make sense of performance, trends, opportunities, and risk to maximize revenue and payment capture.
YOU WILL
Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions).• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement RCM strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve best-in-class RCM performance (e.g., cash to net revenue, DNFB, A/R days, clean claim rate, denial rate, etc.).
• Product and Project Management: Lead major data analytics products and projects from initiation to completion, such as new RCM dashboards, data visualizations, tools and enablers.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying variances, root causes for underperformance (e.g., payer mix shifts, coding changes, process breakdowns) and quantifying the financial impact of issues.
• Predictive Modeling: Develop scalable revenue management models to forecast cash flow, anticipate payer denial trends, and assess the financial impact of proposed fee schedule or contract changes.
• Process Automation: Collaborate with IT, Development Ops, Ops, and RCM leadership to identify opportunities to automate data collection, report distribution, and routine analysis tasks.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Fulfill data requests from senior leadership, providing clear, concise summaries and recommendations based on complex data sets.
• Growth Partnership: Aid executive leadership and development teams with revenue modeling, sensitivity analysis, and forecasting to optimize growth strategy, pro forma accuracy, and ROI for all de novo and M&A activity.YOU HAVE
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a data analyst or business intelligence role, with at least 2 years focused specifically on healthcare RCM data. ASC and Dental/Oral Surgery experience is a significant plus.
• Certifications: HFMA’s Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
Skills:
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools and demonstrated ability to develop executive-facing work products that outline performance, risk, and opportunities to optimize revenue and payment capture.
• Strong functional knowledge of ASC coding, billing and reimbursement methodologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in dental and multi-specialty is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading organizational change, process re-engineering, and managing cross-functional stakeholder groups (clinical, IT, operations, finance).
• Demonstrated utilization and optimization of workflows, functionality and reporting in EMR and PAS solutions (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, HST Pathways, SIS Complete). Experience leveraging Open Dental is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
