      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and implement an Artificial Intelligence strategy for the department
      - Serve as the subject matter expert on AI applications and ensure compliance with regulations
      - Lead projects for the adoption and integration of AI and Large Language Models (LLM)
      - Collaborate with stakeholders across various MDOC administrations to identify and implement AI solutions
      - Provide first-tier user support for AI-related projects and initiatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in any major
      - Four years of professional experience, including two years at the experienced (P11) level or one year at the advanced (12) level
      - Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and natural language processing
      - Proven project management skills and ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions
      - Ability to meet high ethical standards and report any conflicts of interest

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience collaborating with business units to identify operational challenges for LLM applications
      - Familiarity with compliance standards for AI implementation and vendor assessment
      - Knowledge of ethical considerations surrounding AI technologies
      - Previous experience in a government or corrections-related setting
