What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a sales team in selling the CDK Inventory Management Solution to Non-CDK DMS clients
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales quotas and revenue growth
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and motivation to staff
- Engage with competitive accounts to enhance market share of CDK solutions
- Utilize sales automation tools for effective pipeline management and forecasting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience leading a quota-exceeding B2B outside sales team
- Proven track record in solutions selling within the automotive industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales technology applications
- Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with automotive inventory solutions and retail environments
- 1-3 years of outside B2B sales experience, including new business development
- Formal sales training of 7-9 months in a job-related context
- Knowledge of automotive technology and digital solutions
