What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the grocery sales team, managing regional account leads and driving performance across all grocery customers
- Directly manage large national accounts, including Kroger and Albertsons, overseeing sales, forecasting, and customer relationships
- Deliver revenue, share, and distribution goals, with ownership of annual and quarterly planning and performance tracking
- Develop and coach a high-performing grocery sales team, fostering talent growth and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective market entry and execution of new product categories
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8-12+ years of CPG sales experience, including direct management of large grocery customers (Kroger and/or Albertsons experience required)
- Proven success in leading sales teams and delivering strong results in fast-growing or entrepreneurial environments
- Deep understanding of trade management, category strategy, and the grocery retail landscape
- Highly analytical and organized, with strong forecasting and planning discipline
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to influence stakeholders effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficient in syndicated data tools such as Nielsen, Stratum & SPINS
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and energized by building structure in a fast-moving company
