What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the implementation, adoption, and ongoing support of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Document current and proposed workflows using flowchart formats and evaluate solutions for efficiency
- Produce comprehensive documentation including gap analyses, design specifications, and project plans
- Conduct training sessions for end-users, both virtually and in-person
- Provide troubleshooting and support for system upgrades, patches, and integration with other applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in healthcare technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and application navigation
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively
- Ability to produce detailed documentation and conduct training sessions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in project management and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with health information technology (HIT) applications and their integration with peripheral devices
- Previous involvement in vendor review and selection processes
- Knowledge of information security best practices
