What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor progress of foreclosures to ensure compliance with state, federal, and investor guidelines
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for associates, attorneys, and other departments
- Research and validate loans on foreclosure exception reports
- Approve additional attorney fees and maintain tracking of legal expenses
- Conduct regular reviews of assigned loans and ensure adherence to investor guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Default Servicing
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience in Default Servicing or related fields
- Proven leadership ability
- Knowledge of bank and departmental systems
- Understanding of mortgage products, including home equity loans and lines of credit
- Experience training new staff and implementing procedural changes
