What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build new customer career sites using the employer's SaaS platform according to specifications and deadlines
- Efficiently resolve issues during the testing phases of new build projects
- Provide support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle from design to client delivery
- Offer day-to-day frontend support for troubleshooting and resolving issues on live client site systems
- Make amendments and improvements to existing client site systems as part of monthly retainers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of commercial experience using advanced CSS / SASS / SCSS techniques
- Minimum 2 years of commercial experience using JavaScript / TypeScript techniques
- Experience with front-end JS frameworks (React and/or Angular)
- Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles
- Knowledge of current accessibility guidelines and frontend web performance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using BEM naming conventions and methodologies
- Familiarity with creative design software such as Figma
- Previous experience working in a self-organizing agile development team
- Experience with version control systems using Git such as GitHub or Bitbucket
- Keen eye for design and knowledge of frontend UI and UX best practices
