What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct high-quality assessments of humanitarian needs and provide prioritized recommendations for program interventions
- Design and implement environmental health program responses and strategies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Draft technical proposals and budgets for international donors, collaborating closely with grants and finance staff
- Lead program implementation, including staff recruitment, training, and budget management
- Prepare timely reports on grants and sector activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in engineering, hydrology, environmental health, or a related field; Master’s level education strongly preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in WASH/Environmental Health projects at the coordinator level or above
- Proven leadership and team management skills in fast-paced and multifaceted environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of French or Arabic strongly preferred

- Experience in leading programs in emergency or start-up environments as part of a multinational team
- Proficiency in MS Access, Project, and GIS applications
- Strong writing and editing skills for grant proposals and reports
- Ability to manage people and programs effectively in acute emergency contexts
