      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Attend all class sessions and actively facilitate activities to enhance student engagement
      - Hold regular office hours and provide one-on-one support to students outside of class
      - Assist in the development and implementation of course materials and activities
      - Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to students
      - Summarize student responses from assignments and surveys to inform instructional adjustments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current graduate student at UW-Madison, with eligibility restrictions for May 2026 graduates
      - Minimum of one semester of teaching assistant or teaching experience
      - Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field
      - Ability to commit to a 64.5% Teaching Assistant appointment during the course duration
      - Strong interpersonal and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior TA or teaching experience specifically with first-year students
      - Familiarity with active learning approaches and teaching in an active learning classroom
      - Experience in creating interactive and engaging learning environments
