What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate the impact of security and information protection legal and regulatory requirements affecting the employer
- Assist with operationalizing security practices that comply with applicable regulations and frameworks
- Remain current with security legislation, standards, and industry trends
- Collaborate with teams to communicate new or changing regulations affecting cybersecurity requirements
- Maintain and improve compliance metrics and documentation for key stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security compliance or risk management
- Strong understanding of information security and compliance concepts
- Knowledge of state, federal, and international information security laws and regulations
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CIPP
