      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee regulatory compliance for employed physicians and hospital departments related to billing procedures
      - Review and assess billing, documentation, and coding practices to ensure compliance and minimize penalties
      - Respond to questions and issues in coordination with the compliance officer
      - Provide training and education on corporate compliance to physicians and hospital departments
      - Actively participate in the Billing Compliance Committee and yearly OIG Audit Plan

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - 2-3 years of extensive coding experience in healthcare
      - Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
      - Excellent communication skills with a positive customer relations orientation
      - Effective public speaking skills with the ability to convey complex regulatory information clearly

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
      - Clinic background preferred
