      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Design full-course curricula for high school STEM subjects, including unit plans and daily lesson plans
      - Develop high-quality instructional materials such as lessons, labs, and assessments
      - Ensure curriculum alignment with New York State standards and the employer's academic vision
      - Embed inquiry-based learning and opportunities for analytical thinking in the curriculum
      - Collaborate with academic leaders and other curriculum writers to ensure coherence across courses

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Biology; Master’s degree preferred
      - At least three years of experience in developing rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
      - Proven record of driving strong student outcomes through curriculum design
      - Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and academic leaders
      - Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and assessment design

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with high school STEM subjects, particularly in developing AP Biology curriculum
      - Familiarity with New York State educational standards and curriculum requirements
      - Previous experience working in a consulting role or project-based environment
      - Strong skills in using student performance data to iterate and improve curriculum
      - A demonstrated commitment to educational equity and diversity
