      Experienced Immigration Paralegal needed in the Atlanta Area!

      We are an entrepreneurial boutique immigration law firm that is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced paralegal to join our local team and be a total champion. You will work directly with the owner to support the team and help clients.

      We want to be known for helping clients come out of an extremely emotional process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast and need an experienced paralegal who can hit the ground running.

      We love to help people learn and grow. We need a paralegal with experience in immigration law. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.

      This is a position where you will be expected to manage a caseload. Initial employment compensation will be based on your experience, with opportunities for increases after that. There is also an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team.

      Responsibilities
      • Possesses strong organizational abilities.
      • Heavily focused on drafting, reviewing, and editing support letters, personal statements, affidavits, and cover letters.
      • Preparing forms for both employment based and family based immigration
      • Take client through the life of the immigration process, including follow up, status reports and RFE Responses.
      • Work closely with managing attorneys and staff members to ensure swift action through the immigration process.
      • Ensuring deadlines are prioritized properly so the work gets done in the proper order.
      • Enter client notes and billable time into the Case Management System (MyCase).
      • Utilizing Microsoft 365 for work product and communication with clients.
      • Utilizing Docketwise software for form preparation.
      • Gathering items from clients directly.

      Qualifications
      • Experience at a legal firm working on business immigration law matters for at least 2-3 years is required.
      • Wide range of knowledge regarding immigration-related topics.
      • E2, H1Bs, L-1, or EB2 experience is preferred.
      • Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high.
