What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and edit support letters, personal statements, affidavits, and cover letters
- Collaborate with managing attorneys and staff to expedite the immigration process
- Prioritize deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Enter client notes and billable time into the Case Management System (MyCase)
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business immigration law matters
- Required knowledge of E2, H1Bs, L-1, or EB2 processes
- 3+ years of legal service experience in a law firm setting under an attorney
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program or equivalent education
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced paralegal education or professional certification
- Strong communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations
- Local applicants from the Atlanta, Georgia area preferred
