What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform tasks related to project completion including analysis, training, testing, documentation, and implementation for laboratory information systems
- Assist in the development and maintenance of all laboratory information systems
- Verify that all data has been entered correctly and provide support as appropriate for assigned laboratory area
- Participate in operational development ensuring seamless interfacing between the Laboratory Information System and other clinical information systems
- Lead technical change requests for the assigned laboratory area
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university OR Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a laboratory setting
- Successful completion of an ASCP/NAACLS-accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent certification
- Strong communication and computer literacy skills
- Experience with laboratory information systems and laboratory equipment operation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Hematology, Coagulation, Flow Cytometry, and Epic Beaker certification
- Familiarity with Stago and Sysmex instrumentation
- Epic usage experience
