What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and confirm international reservations to secure the lowest air fare for clients
- Utilize creative techniques to reduce air fares, such as split ticketing and analyzing pricing variations
- Provide timely responses to internal clients with accurate cost-saving and commission-earning advice
- Assist agents with reissue and refund procedures and calculations
- Liaise with the UK International Rate Desk for assistance with net fare and ticketing issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of corporate reservations experience
- Proficiency in Sabre and Amadeus GDS
- Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Travel School certification or A.S. Degree in Travel/Tourism
- GDS Certification
- Strong understanding of airline contracts and pricing strategies
