What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software products, including installation and troubleshooting
- Assist end users with problem resolution and ensure systems are functioning properly
- Maintain and manage asset inventory, schedules, and documentation for Desktop Services
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and coordinate tasks within the team
- Develop automation processes to improve efficiencies and reduce manual tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a desktop computing support environment
- Bachelor's Degree or two years post high school education, or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a desktop support environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel
- Technical understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows and desktop software applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical understanding and 1 year work experience with Microsoft Windows sysprep
- Experience administering Windows Group Policy (GPO)
- Familiarity with the employer's business environment and organizational functions
- Ability to create scripts/code for task automation
- Prior experience with reporting and business intelligence tools
