What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, design, and maintain applications for the Michigan Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (MiSACWIS)
- Provide production support and evaluate potential solutions for application issues
- Lead programming efforts using Java, Salesforce, XML, and Oracle technologies
- Analyze and document application requirements and maintain system compliance with IT best practices
- Collaborate with state agency teams to ensure effective implementation of technology solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in relevant fields such as computer science, data processing, or information systems
- Minimum of two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11
- Alternate education options available, including an associate's degree and relevant experience
- Proven experience in application development and programming
- Ability to document and present technical information clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platforms
- Familiarity with creating build/release pipelines
- Knowledge of administering applications in Salesforce
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Batch, Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience in deploying applications to Salesforce
