What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable APIs for mobile applications
- Integrate services via API to consume external data or data from other internal systems
- Write unit tests and technical documentation
- Optimize API performance and communication with databases
- Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality software development practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in São Paulo to attend client meetings 2-3 times weekly, especially in the initial months
- Proficiency in Python with knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node
- Strong experience with Django and FastAPI; knowledge of Flask is a plus
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Familiarity with Git, Linux environment, and Kubernetes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of development patterns (SOLID, Clean Code), software architecture, and messaging services (RabbitMQ)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), NGINX, search tools (Elasticsearch), and authentication (OAuth, JWT, SSO)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and APM (New Relic)
