What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and optimize AWS EC2 and EKS clusters for high availability and performance
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for production outages, providing timely resolutions and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with development teams to provide support and share best practices for deployment and operations
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on cluster status and incidents
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Significant experience in DevOps/SRE roles with a focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, EKS, IAM, and S3
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD
- Knowledge of AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with Java applications
