What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure information security for assigned business areas, focusing on key risk areas as outlined in the Information Security policy
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance evaluations for infrastructure and application assets within required timeframes
- Manage the documentation and certification of information systems in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Lead audits and client reviews of security posture, coordinating Information Security deliverables and tracking remediation of findings
- Collaborate with the Information Security team on process improvements and secure design of assets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of federal requirements including FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST standards
- Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and related artifacts for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities
- Proficiency in vulnerability management and assessment tools such as Qualys and Tenable
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with GSA Risk Management Framework (RMF) and A&A processes
- Familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance
- Background in customer service with strong abilities to work collaboratively across teams
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
