What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage onsite Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for MSC ships undergoing overhaul globally
- Ensure shipyard compliance with Work Item 015 and related specifications
- Oversee Government Furnished Material (GFM) management and accurate record-keeping
- Develop and update ship configuration records based on equipment changes
- Coordinate shipping and return of unused material with government warehouses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance
- Must possess a US Passport
- Typically requires a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience OR a minimum of 12 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated expertise in fleet sustainment logistics support services for MSC, U.S. Navy, or U.S. Coast Guard vessels
- Highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant experience with Navy or MSC databases and systems (e.g., CLIP, CMLS, ShipCLIP)
- Experience in marine engineering system functionality and associated ILS elements
- Knowledge of the DLA Logistics/Supply system
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
