What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Directly manage and support the engineering team in delivering high-quality web-based applications
- Oversee hiring processes for new team members, including developers and quality assurance engineers
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with team members to assess performance and identify training needs
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily standups
- Collaborate with other leaders to identify and meet business priorities related to software development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in software development
- 4-6 years of experience managing software engineering teams
- Certification in Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience implementing Scrum practices and managing release activities in Azure DevOps
- Master’s degree in Computer Science
- 2 or more years of experience as a Software/Application Architect
- Familiarity with cloud-based hosting solutions, particularly Azure
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) models and multi-tenant solutions
