What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist project teams in compiling and synthesizing information through literature reviews, policy scans, and Medicaid/TAF program research
- Prepare and assist with primary source data collection through interviews, focus groups, and surveys
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative research data and contribute to the reporting and interpretation of findings
- Extract and transform Medicaid supplemental payment data into accessible formats for reporting cycles
- Support project management tasks, including developing timelines and tracking project progress
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in the social sciences or related fields
- Experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative data collection
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a virtual work environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data collection and report writing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Medicaid programs, TAF systems, or other federal/state health policy programs
- Familiarity with qualitative or quantitative data analysis software programs
- Experience using Python, R, or STATA, or using Atlas.TI, NVivo, or Dedoose
