What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as lead program manager and PBM Domain Steward for Specialty Clinical Applications, overseeing the program's lifecycle
- Collaborate with VA, DOD, and IHS pharmacy partners on informatics initiatives
- Build effective communication channels between field facilities and national program offices to foster team engagement
- Analyze information from focus groups to prepare specification requirements for pharmacy applications
- Provide technical training to VHA Pharmacy Informatics Specialists on Specialty Clinical Applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Pharmacy degree (BS Pharmacy and/or PharmD) and active, unrestricted pharmacist license in a U.S. state/territory/DC
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading pharmacy clinical informatics/EHR initiatives (VistA and/or Cerner preferred)
- Strong ability to translate complex clinical/technical issues into actionable requirements and clear communications
- Ability to work remotely/telework
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with specialty clinical pharmacy applications such as pharmacogenomics, BCMA, or Adverse Reaction Tracking
- Experience supporting VA EHRM or other federal EHR modernization efforts
- Prior experience in a national or enterprise-level program management role within VHA or a federal health agency
- Technical experience or knowledge in software design or development
