What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop robust solutions in Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and AI
- Design and evaluate algorithms for understanding textual and multimodal data
- Collaborate with team members and customers in a dynamic work environment
- Seek funding to grow and develop personal research areas
- Engage in live field tests and demonstrations of projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong publication history in NLP conferences or other AI venues
- Experience with natural language text generation and large language models (LLMs)
- Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with multiple large multimodal AI models including image, text, and speech
- Past work adapting NLP and LLMs to various domains, including decision-making and reasoning
