- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls (including to medical offices, billing departments, and other providers) to present and "sell" our prompt-pay program and secure appropriate discounts.
- Accurately enter and update bill and provider data in our systems while speaking with providers, maintaining speed, accuracy, and minimal errors.
- Review bills received electronically (EDI) from insurance carrier clients, verify key details, and determine next steps for negotiation and processing.
- Clearly explain our prompt-pay offering, timelines, and terms to providers and billing contacts, addressing questions and overcoming objections in a professional, customer-focused manner.
- Conduct research and basic skip tracing when bill or provider information is incomplete, including looking up NPI numbers, confirming provider locations, and identifying correct billing contacts or offices.
- Work in a call center–style, production environment, managing a personal queue of bills and achieving established productivity and quality expectations (e.g., bills handled per hour, call volume).
- Collaborate with team members, offshore vendor partners, and operations leadership to resolve issues, share information, and support department goals.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines while adapting to updates in processes, systems, and client requirements.
- Independently organize and prioritize daily workload to meet schedules, service levels, and production targets.
- Complete other duties as assigned, which may include special projects, additional research, and supporting teammates during high-volume periods.

Join our high-energy negotiations team and help drive savings for our insurance carrier clients while supporting prompt payment to healthcare providers. As a Negotiator, you will serve as a liaison between medical providers and insurance carriers, selling our prompt-pay negotiation services over the phone and accurately processing bill information in a fast-paced, production environment. In this role, you will:
QualificationsMinimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or training in business, healthcare, insurance, or related fields is a plus.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in sales, call center, or other high-volume, production-based environments preferred. Experience with data entry, data processing, or working in an insurance/medical billing setting is a plus.
Skills: Strong verbal communication and phone presence with the ability to confidently sell services to medical professionals. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production environment handling high call volumes (both inbound and outbound). Accurate and fast typing/data entry skills while talking on the phone. Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive tasks. Basic computer skills, including working within multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
Internet: Must have reliable high-speed internet to support voice and data applications in a remote work environment.
