What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and secure permits for utility pole attachments, railroad crossings, and other facility placements
- Negotiate easements and right of entry agreements with property owners
- Assist with lease negotiations and manage related documentation
- Support special projects and initiatives to meet organizational goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors and government authorities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree or higher, or 2+ years of professional work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in voice, data, or video networking
- Strong understanding of permitting processes and real estate law
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with GIS software and technical knowledge in telecommunications, engineering, or construction
- Skills in project management and land surveying
- Familiarity with Python scripting and complex data queries
- Previous experience in vendor and risk management
