What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote and drive the growth of Neurocrine products within a designated geographic territory
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and key opinion leaders
- Execute territory sales strategies through in-person and virtual communications to meet objectives
- Identify and address territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and support for sales initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in science or related field AND a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in complex environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience
- Close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience
- Experience with salesforce automation platforms and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP)
- Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic medication
- Ability to navigate complex accounts across varied care sites
