What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct video visits for primary care patients presenting with acute complaints
- Assist with after-hours calls for primary care and escalate issues from RNs
- Manage in-basket communications effectively
- Schedule patient visits in 15-minute slots, averaging 4 visits per hour
- Work onsite at the Mercy Virtual Care Center in Chesterfield, MO, for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to remote work
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Missouri license required to start, with additional licenses needed for Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, and Oklahoma
- One to three years of previous Advanced Practitioner experience in a Primary Care or Urgent setting preferred
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a hybrid care model combining onsite and remote patient interactions
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- Strong communication skills for effective patient engagement
