What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to designated patient populations in various settings
- Perform complete histories and physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and evaluate appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Develop appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic findings
- Write prescriptions and provide timely documentation including admission and progress notes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Master’s Degree for Physician Assistant
- Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) state license required
- Minimum of 4 years of primary care/triage experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain effective working relationships with patients and medical staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in telephonic support and clinical guidance
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of care
- Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
