      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collect, manage, and analyze data on patients diagnosed with cancer
      - Abstract, code, and report cancer statistics, ensuring data accuracy and quality
      - Maintain a comprehensive cancer database in compliance with American College of Surgeons requirements
      - Meet productivity goals for data abstraction and assist with annual patient follow-ups
      - Conduct case finding to support the cancer registry

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree required
      - Certification as an Oncology Data Specialist with the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) required
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience in database management preferred
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience in tumor registry preferred
      - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with cancer treatment data management
      - Knowledge of coding standards and cancer registry reporting
      - Familiarity with medical terminology related to oncology
      - Previous roles in healthcare data analysis or registry management
      - Additional certifications in healthcare data management or related fields
