What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in an online survey about spatial thinking and geometry knowledge
- Engage in an in-person session to experience 3D geometric shapes using a VR headset
- Think aloud while solving geometry problems during the VR session
- Complete both parts of the study to qualify for the maximum gift card reward
- Follow consent and participation protocols as outlined by the research team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a UW-Madison undergraduate student
- Must not have participated in Dr. Mitchell Nathan's geometry research before
- Ability to wear a VR headset and use hand gestures (glasses are fine)
- No math expertise or VR experience needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with virtual reality technology (not required but beneficial)
- Interest in educational psychology or research studies
