      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide general litigation support including drafting pleadings, memoranda, affidavits, and correspondence
      - Independently monitor assigned cases and conduct factual investigations and research
      - Assist with interviews and coordinate meetings between attorneys, experts, clients, and other parties
      - Monitor trial deadlines, prepare trial exhibit notebooks, and attend trial as necessary
      - Ensure timely and proper service of legal documents and manage case files and discovery documents

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Combination of four years of experience through paralegal certification, a two-year paralegal degree, or paraprofessional experience in support of an attorney
      - One year of experience as a Paralegal 1 in Washington State Service is acceptable
      - Experience in preparing legal pleadings and correspondence
      - Strong organizational skills for managing case documents and tracking critical dates
      - Ability to conduct legal research and verify citations and references for accuracy

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in litigation and trial processes
      - Familiarity with Washington State legal procedures and regulations
      - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment
      - Previous involvement in employee-driven affinity groups or community service initiatives
